THIRD ANNUAL TERRIER MATCH

1^st NOVEMBER 2009 WEEDON VILLAGE HALL

We had another most enjoyable day at the third annual terrier match, hosted this year by the Irish Terrier Association. We are pleased to announce that the Irish Terrier team were this years winners, and that David Brown with his Sujoncla  Ochinee  (Ruby) achieved Reserve Best in Match.

Our 2009 team representing Irish Terriers (left to right) were Bamsey’s Holbam Winslow King handled by Carol, Brown’s Sujoncla Ochinee handled by David, Bradley & Bradbury’s Montelle Leading Lady handled by Ann Bradley, Boyles, Montelle Moya handled by Claudia, Bamseys’s Holbam Tierney handled by Mary Bradshaw, and Neville’s Courtington Elena at Rosemonelle handled by Ivor Hemmings.


The judges for this years match were Mrs. Ashley Wooding an Irish Terrier specialist and Mr. Martin Lockett an Airedale Specialist.

The overall match winner was a Lakeland Terrier and the best puppy in match was a Fox Terrier, next year it is the turn of the Airedale Terriers to host this end of year event.
